All you jetmeisters should just ask for a Korean war era plane set and the arena to go with it...better yet an entire Korean war flight sim.

+1 QFT

+The Meteor did not see air combat.

And yes, I know it flew against Buzz Bombs.  Someone will surely come along and tell me that shooting or rolling over an unarmed, unmanned bomb is aerial combat. :lol
The Meteor does not meet HTC's criteria for addition to the planeset.

so? saw combat (armed reconnaisance, ground attack in enemy territory), served in squadron strength. fulfills the criteria. dont remember "had confirmed kills" being a criteria. if it is we should probably remove the C47.

+ for RTHolmes!  the way I figire it is if Allies had been losing the war as bad as the Axis
were in 44 and 45 and the Axis planes filled the skies over the Allied homelands then just
about any Allied airplane from prototype on up would be considerined flown in a combat
environment too.  but that's not the way it was. However the FACT is the Meteor was
deployed and in FACT are so were the F7F, F8F, P51-H and P-82a.  Shouldn't handicap
the Allies simply because they ran out of targets to shoot down!  :x

"The Meteor does not meet HTC's criteria for addition to the planeset."'

Oh brother. As if you have any clue what their criteria is.  :lol

Anyway. Did HTC disable the Meteor in LW since last night? Can't see it in the hangar
selection list!!!

burn marks or bullet holes. Just "blink" and gone!

next patch please HTC !

+ a beaufighter for early war and scenarios!

Beaufighter - Now that would be a great addition - especially for the FSO and other special events.
Free Host WB had them and they were a handful to deal with - unfortuantely I never could. lol
-------------

RE: Meteor - what was it's operational  history? - was it deployed in Europe or just Britain? - #'s? - year?
If there were enough in action then there should be one available IMHO.

Same with the B-29 <d,r,l,h>

cheers eh! :D

QFT  Do you think we would have the 163 if the germans were winning the war?  What are the criteria anyway?  Squadron strength? Saw combat?  What else?  If it's just those 2 then the Meteor meets the requirements.  Saw combat is the only viable argument against it...so what is saw combat?  Fired guns in anger..well it did against buzz bombs.  Engaged enemy AC...well that's sort of in question.  But HTC has the final say...not us.

DuHasst

PS and wouldn't it be fun to have a 262 vs Meteor fight.  Seems to me it would be as fun as any other fight between axis/allied AC.  Each has strengths/weaknesses to exploit.

In AH?  :O

That better be a big perk point plane...

What sim is this from, and while I remember AirWarrior, and warbirds, I'm not familiar with whether they or other MMO WWII combat sims are still around.

Is AH the only one still operating?
