As a fighter I would say it's better than the 262.  Bomber hunting still goes to the duece!  Is still think that a meteor vs 262 fight would be fun

I think we are unlikely to get it in the near future if ever and I would really like to fight this duel.

And the J2M3, Ki-44 and Yak-3 have about as good a shot at getting an Me262 as all but the highest end prop fighters.

It played a very minor role in WWII.  Given the lack of so many aircraft that played much larger roles in WWII, I can't see giving the Meteor Mk III high priority just to see this, admittedly neat, what-if fight.

Good thing this is the "Wishlist" and not the "I want it now or I quit list"  I think the best thing about the wishlist is that it's easier to find the noobs, morons and people who know way to much about WW2 aircraft.  Seems there few people that start post from the middle!

I'd say the Meteor easily. The 262 is the worst-turning fighter in the game, the Meteor's is less than that of some prop fighters.

I can't argue because to be honest I don't know about it's handling. With the jets I look at speed and climb first. 

How fun would that be to have Meteors and 262s duking it out.

I'd say the Meteor easily. The 262 is the worst-turning fighter in the game, the Meteor's is less than that of some prop fighters.

Which is about as relevant as a duel between a P-47 and a Spitfire Mk V.
