Radio doesn't always help you much in a GV. Unlike in planes, you can't spot the talking player on map. And with our terrain and especially the rather crude maps, ground navigation and telling someone "I'm over here" doesn't work very good either.
Flare were used for various tactical reasons, and in my opinion they could add some more flair (pun intended ;) ) to the battlefield.

Agreed. I'm always running outa ammo, and then having to quit. If a plane could fly over and drop supps, then you get more kills, you get to spend less time driving, and more time playing, and the pilot gets a few perks.

Rino, I'd say more like 50%. In a GV fight, one side has to have moved.

Guncrasher, IDK. But I know who will get the kill

ok so what color should the flair be and should it have a parachute. and if nobody brings you supplies when you use the radio, what makes you think they will if you shoot a flair?  seen land of the dead? not even the zombies pay attentions to them.

Yeah sure, make your self a known target to the enemies, then they'll know who's in trouble and go straight for ya. Then again, you could BS them and lead them straight into a trap.

I vote we have red flares as green would blend in more. Think, we almost no color variation, and therefor red will be good almost always. It should be brighter at night in TT too.

Well flares wouldn't have any set meaning anymore than do smoke shells. It pretty much up to the people in your area. If you use it to show AC where targets are then thats what you do, if you use it to show where to drop supps then the people in your area use it like that or change it. I, personally would set up an ambush with them like you said. Say a lot of people are outa ammo, they charge, then they die.
