Tried the wirby last night and had five kills before I was killed. The key is keep it moving and turn wirby and turrent at the same time. She's still a beast! Oh and that sortie was worth 37 perkies!! :rock

So we should dumb down the game so you can get easier kills for more people to join then they jump into a not so dumbed down vehicle or plane and get really frustrated and quit.  If chewbacca lives on endor it does not make sense like this post, it just does not make sense!

If you actually believe that changing the turret rotation speed on the flak panzie is going to turn away new customers and not subscribe after the free trial, its not me that doesn't have a grasp on things.

ack-ack

yeah babe .... that is exactly what I am saying...with the only caveat being "POTENTIAL" new customers being turned away...not new customers..as you put it.  I'm sure they can track the ratio of free looks/new customers over he next six months...and I'm also sure that ratio won't look as good.

Zetanine, I was the same as you on my two week trial except my first choice ever in the game was a spitfire mk1 (most guns) and i got a kill on an f4u. That made me want to subscribe. Just some perspective for you.

Zeta.... just how many folks do you imagine come to a flight game to drive a wirble in the first place.

I hear ya man......and I would have become a customer regardless. this isn't about me......it's about numbers.

I knew I was kicking most folks here in the jimmies when I made this thread.....

my larger point........going way beyond just the wirb......is that there should be a good balance between factual realism and ease of use..within this game...

the other option is to have magnificent realism.......which makes things harder for newbs to work/grasp .... and in so doing.....with every new patch and tweak.....saying good bye to 29 out of every 30 people who respond to advertising...actually take the time to come here and try it.......and leave never to come back.

I'm not saying dumb it down........I'm saying smartening it up too much......is stupid....unless this company is a non-profit.

perhaps 1 in one thousand.....

this isn't about how or why they come here......this is about less of them leaving after two weeks.
