Controller issues

I'm finding my control scaling settings reset to defaults every time I log on and every so often in the game. Also getting the "don't move your stick so rapidly" (or something similar) quite a lot even though my stick (CH products) is rock solid in every other application I use it in and in the CH calibration tool. I'm also losing the stick momentarily and then having the response in the game be exagerated when it does kick in. This has all happened since the 2nd patch into the last major update.

Are you using Windows Vista? If so, you'll want to install the game in a folder outside of Program Files, otherwise you can end up with a lot of user permission issues that cause things like this.
