Realistic cure for the blinding son... your hand
« on: September 20, 2009, 02:04:58 AM »
Wouldn't it be nice to have a hotkey that would bring your hand up to shield the sun? It could only bring it up as long as you held the hotkey. That would prevent pielets from riding around with it up there all day. Not sure why anyone would because it would surely affect their SA.

I like the idea.  Create a "hand" graphic that simply allows a small "shaded" area right below it for a bit of a tunneled vision.

My guess is that it would be a coding nightmare, though.

I'd also the hand to come with different versions, say passing an nme fighter, maybe the one finger salute b4 engaging. Or passing a friendly, to give a-OK signal. There's a lot to come from this.  :P

here's some more hand signals.

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.
