TOS on BluRay
« on: September 20, 2009, 08:07:43 AM »
I just got my copy of the first season.  The effects have all been redone (the purists can still watch the origial effects).  It looks fantastic.  I highly recommend it.  Season two is mine when it's released Tuesday.

The greatest show ever made.

And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

Love that last shot. I tell you what, the creative ways they found to show a bit of skin on the female guest stars beats the hell out of anything film and TV does today.

Scares me that all these people knew what he was talking about, but I even had to Google "Star Trek TOS" to finds out what it stood for...

I didn't know what he was talking about.  I just thought this thread could use some Star Trek pics.

That's not a costume.

TOS was actually the first "reality" show and he was one of the friendly villagers Kirk had the oppurtunity to pwn.

Even if his body is just painted, the mask, torso...thing, and gloves make it a costume to me.
