A couple of interesting post war stories.

My uncle stayed in japan for one of his war buddies. Seeing as he didn't have at the time someone really to go back home to he stayed for his war buddy who had a wife and kids. Long story shot he met my Aunt Yoshko and she left her family to run to the US with him. Interestingly she never had kids most likely because she was a witness to the bombing of Nagasaki.(FAR AWAY ENOUGH!) She died of leukemia in 93. I mention this because I'm working(very slowly) on a story about it I hope to publish someday.
