last night.
apparently, as i was straffing a vbase, the 6 ostis, wirbels, and whatever else were out there were having trouble hitting me.
spectre2 puts something out, saying "everybody record the p38 at v28"
after they finally did take me down(i was gonna keep making passes till they either kilt me, or i ran outta ammo) i asked why that was put up. he refused to answer.
then time(lazydog) tells me that they're all saying i'm warping. checked my net status, and it was perfect(as always), so i figure an explanation may be in order.
remember, they changed the turret speeds? well, i was well over 400mph on most of those passes i made. i deliberately made most of those passes so as to be crossing all of the gv's at angles that would require tracking, and for them to move their turrets.
to the best of my knowledge, these turrets can't move fast enough to track an aircraft at 400mph. when i was past them, i wasn't climbing sharply, till i was a ways out, so as to not give a big profile.
it was only a matter of time though, before one or two of the 4,5, or 6 gv's hit me.

a little later, i'm trying to defend a base, and am on an aircon, when i get a call, "cap, check the mustang!"
i turn, dive(from 100ft

) to get what speed i can get, and watch the pony.
i see him closing, so i turn, to see if i can pull him in. he comes at me, i pull almost into blackout, and roll out. he takes his shot and misses, but rather smartly, he climbs back up.
i tried to get guns on him, but couldn't get them there fast enough, so i level for speed and the next pass.
he comes back down, i do the same thing, 'cept i let him get closer, hoping to get him to scrub his e. he missed again, and went back up, this time extending out of icon range.
next i know, i see in the text buffer "38 at a(i forget the base number), you're warping". since i was clear, i immediately checked my net status again. it was perfect across the entire screen.
this leads me to believe, that you(time) seriously mis-judged my e state. so, i think your version of the warping 38, was simply a 38 that was easily able to avoid your bnz pass. you're just fairly used to picking us when we're slow, and barely able to dodge.
since i know you read these..i have to ask? was i "warping" when you came back, after extending a sector, and picked me while i was slow enough that i could barley keep it in the air?
that's my rant/explanation/stuff for the morning.
