Thunderbirds 2009

Snapped some good shots at the Thunderbirds 2009 Airshow, Hickam AFB, Honolulu HI. The 66th Composite Squadron (Civil Air Patrol) was running a static booth as well as assisting in crowd control, hence my uniform. Work on day one, recruiting day 2.

Yes I do, however, the Air Force decided that this was not considered a flight line. I was kindly informed by a SrAmn on orders from Colonel something-or-other after I had my cadets observing flight line procedure. It still felt weird having the cover on all day, but the Air Force decided...

No, but he wanted her to take a gun to concealed carry with her on Washington State University's campus. This is a tiny framed half-Asian girl who fumbles with everything. He finally settled on a tazer (taser? eh) when everyone finally made it abundantly clear why a gun wouldn't work.

Now ya got me hijackin' posts again... :D
