who has a "sleeper". I was at the gas station filling up and next to me, parks a Grenada. I heard the exhaust note coming in and "my curiosity got the better of me". We get to talking and I said, "that sounds like a 347 Stroker". He replied "How'd you know?!" He had a Supercharger on it. He did the same thing you did, kept the previous Mustangs powertrain and went from there.
He says he was getting around 500hp at the rear wheels. 
very nice. the dude actually chose one of the few cars uglier than a fairmont.
the fun thing though.........no one under 30 has a clue what these cars are, or their potential.
i'd be willing to be there's a lot of pissed off mustang AND camaro drivers in your area now! and of course we can't forget the ricers.

oo......and the granada is one of the "fox" chassis cars. part of what makes them so ripe for hot-rodding.
