Floating around the Bering Sea on a Coast Guard cutter.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Our stated mission: Fight a delaying action against the Warsaw pact
until reinforcements arrived.

We viewed ourselves as nothing more than a speed bump.  :(

arrived in Los Angeles for the first time...........went to my first comedy club......the Laff Stop in Encino.

while my pals watched the shows.....I sat there and counted heads.......250 people per show.....three packed shows......$8 cover......two drink minimum.  did the math......saw the trend coming......though about what a great idea it would be to laugh all night.....and make a killing at the same time.  went back to florida with dreams of opening my first comedy club.

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.
