"bf 109-k 14 delivered in small numbers during the last two weeks of the war ( like hog c?) the 109 k 14 was the ultimate version of the bf 109 series , and was characterized by the use of the db 605L engine with a two stage super charger and the mw 50  metanol.water  power boost system  , hp at 1700hp for take off and 1300hp at 31,000 feet (!!!!!!!) the capabilitys of this engine allowed the k14 to attain the same maximum speed as the bf 109 k4 but at a altitude of 37,730 feet (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)  rather than 19,685 the armement was either the mk 103 or 108 30 mm cannon and two .51 inch mg 131 .

yea baby this would be a cool plane screw the spit 14

That would be great , even have all the jets , even the gloster meteor. But have the scoring (if it ever gets "fixed") take into account the type of ac someone is flying , i.e. u kill a jet in a zero u get 3x the points  or if you kill a zero in a me262 you get 1/3 the pts or whatever ...ect ect ect.~~~~~~~BTW HTC , the tempest looks really close to the tiffy , seems it should be next plane out.    IMHO.

Yup, K14 was very fast, not many of them ever saw action but it was fast :-)

Top speed was 450Mph, don't know at what alt it did that though.

Everything I have on the 109 says that the K4 was the only K produced in any number. With a very small amount of K6's delivered just before wars end (the exact wording is "only a handful").

I can't even find a listing for a K14, where are you guys finding this information?

I do know Funked has done alot of research on the 109 and has repeatedly said that anything beyond the K4 was only a prototype or never actually produced.

towd the F4u that was delivered in the last art of the war was the F4U-4 with cannons the -1c came along with the -1d (after it I believe) and did see combat. But that dont matter this aint WB. They already said perk planes are coming I have an idea of what they are but maybe find out more at the con.

Only 2 109 K14's saw action during the war, they were delivered to II/JG52 in April 1945.

"Warplanes of the Third Reich" says a few K-6 and K-14 were delivered.  No specific numbers though.
