One day I will get back into the game and chase that LA of yours around for a bit.

I'll be waiting.
I'm kinda liking the I-16 lately. Boy does that thing run outta fuel fast.

I absolutely agree.   I play games to get a break from reality and I wish people who see everything through ideological lenses could take a break from it and realize that not everything hinges on politics.

what's been your experience in them when you get shot? i've only ever fought one, and it was at around 16k with me in a zeek. i got a quick snapshot on him from about 400 or 500 yards, and his tail just came apart.
if it were any other plane i shot with from that distance, i wouldn't think anything of it....but a zeek? it almost makes me want to think that the i-16 has a glass tail.

Musta been a lucky shot. I think Iv'e lost the tail in one once or twice. I have turned with a couple Zekes in it. I'm not sure which one is a better turner yet.

till now, the only thing i couldn't out turn in a zeek with a dt, was another zeek. the brewster is the only other one that's made me get rid of it.

So you don't drop it on purpose? Why? Those things get really good mileage.

because i have a tendency to take very light internal loads of fuel. i do the same in my p38 o doom. i keep the tanks till i absolutely NEED to get rid of em.

i also tend to fly pretty far to the fights too.......before the fight with the brew, i mentioned, it looked like the rooks and bish were fighting each other pretty far south....so i flew 2.5 sectors to get to that fight.

then i died.  :rofl :aok :rofl

The other night I was taking two 1000 pounders to a target and got jumped by a spixteen. While turning with him a zeek and a 109 jumped in on me too. I was able to kill all three fairly quickly. Then I noticed I still had my bombs.

I thought it was just me during the fight as the 38 felt mushy.  :D

Yeah... Thatīs why I always have them(bombs or DTīs) selected at take off, just in case I get jumped. :D
