A brief allegorical interlude.
A guy stands there, chatting up a gal, when a few of his pals come up behind him.
A first says, "Fred, buddy, I really hope you get a date with her. It's been like a year since you last had a date. That's totally not right."
A second says, "Actually, you're wrong. It's only been four months."
The first says, "No. *You* are the one who's wrong. Here -- this is a picture at his last date, and the timestamp clearly says . . ."
Meanwhile, the woman has fled the scene.
