Well given that a number of the Trainers Corp already fly as shades in the main due to being hunted or constantly bombarded with requests. NO, I don't think this is a good thing.

Thats not something anyone else needs to know.

HTC I'm sure can pull the logs in an appropriate situation.

Not arguing with you I swear, can you explain why it would be a bad thing for someone to see the last time you logged in?  We already have a command to know if you're currently playing, I don't see the possible abuse of knowing when the last time you played was.
Thanks

maybe the first question that needs to be answered is why is so important to know when somebody last logged in?  If u are concerned about a squadie u havent seen in a while, then email him, otherwise there's no reason why it should be important.  I dont want people to know when was the last time I logged in, not that I am paranoid, but really its nobody's business.  I would rather want to have a command that tells me if a player is in the air or in the tower, but only withing our own country.  otherwise too easy to find out when the goon just shot down is coming back :)

I see your point.  It's not a very intrusive question.  When was player X last here?  I don't really believe you're asking for this feature for a sinister reason.  I do wonder what purpose it would serve.  What problem would it solve?

The reason I brought this up is, I see a player on channel 200 about 5 times a week say, "Hey has anyone seen SoandSo lately?"  There's no specific reason I'd want this command.  But I honestly can't see anyway it could be used for any abuse.  I'm open to any suggestions as far as that goes.  But I believe it would do more Good than Bad.

Could be used to stalk someone and hunt them (ask where the player was last seen in the arena he's in or plays most often, or something like that.

Probably not if it only responded with a date.

You could easily stalk a player now by using the .f player command...
