Yes, I agree. But I guess this is the best way to do it that the game and most machines can handle having.

The person who lands the most rounds on the target gets the kill when it dies.  Otherwise you get an assist... even if your shot was the one that killed it.  Just the way it is.

Anyway... back to the ORIGINAL question:

Yes... B25H's carried 5 AP rounds.  And to point something out... you have to get the round INTO the tank to kill it... hence the need for AP.  HE just explodes on the surface... although with the right angle and placement, you can get a kill on a tank with HE.  The HE rounds on the 25H are BEST used for softer targets (Light armor, Flak, buildings, barracks, ords, ships, etc)

Would I like to see them on the 25H?  You betcha.  Will we get them?  Who knows.

Exactly AKP. Which is why this was directed more at the moderators.

Skuzzy, can you give me an estimate of when (if we even will, and if not, then tell us why we won't) we will get the AP rounds for the B25H?

the he rounds can kill tigers in one hit we dont need ap for it

B-25H carried 5 AP rounds for the 75mm...there is no reason not to add this ammo option for the H Mitchell.

Is there any documentation as to the AP rounds?  All I've seen is various people posting that it is so.

Well I probably couldn't find anything, but no doubt others could. Ask them. But I can't see any reason they WOULDN'T have carried a few AP rounds.

I seem to remember lyric1 posting quite a bit of info on the 25H awhile back.  He has volumes of information on it.  If anyone can find the documentation... he can.

The Japanese had a handful of amphibious tanks... but for landing craft they used boats for the most part.

Even the amphib tanks they had were rarely used in that role, as they were few in number, and didnt enter service until after their early expansion across the pacific.

EDIT: The DID however have these:  The Su-Ki Amphibious Truck made by Toyota.  I just found this today.

http://www3.plala.or.jp/takihome/su-ki.htm

Only 198 were made, and I am not sure how much service they saw.

Odd isnt it... that a nation which tried to control an area that was primarily islands, didnt have the right tools to do the job.  Dont get me wrong, they did just fine without them... but if they had the types of landing and amphibious craft the allies had it would have made their job much easier.

But, if you want to see what they WERE using... here are a few:

List of the most common vehicles used... keep in mind that of the amphib tanks listed here, only the Type 2 saw regular service.

And here are the usual Wikipedia suspects:

Geez... found another one... but only 49 were made, and it's in question that they saw much service at all.
