For chrissakes, I'll step up and duel somebody instead of "eliminating a round/contest/duel/etc".    I suck anyways, so whoever I draw, would win most likely.

EDIT:  I'll participate in the 3rd one.   Not fair as this has already begun.

Gents,

This in no way has anything to do with Agent and us not being able to find a time to duel. Sorry if it came across that way, Agent pm'ed me to say when he would be on, where to find him,. I was hoping to get on tonight and duke it out with him but things came up. Even if I did pass on to the next round I will likely not have internet for a week or two until it gets hooked up. Personally I would rather bow out and let someone who can make the best use and fun of this event. I am also well aware of the .f agent360 command and how to communicate between arenas.

To be clear: This has nothing to do with Agent360 and should not reflect poorly on him. I would have thoroughly enjoyed our fights win or lose, much like in the past.

<S> Agent360....sorry if you got some heat over some of this, it was certainly undeserved.

Bah, no offense taken Strip.    I just looked at some good sticks still left to go and "had to do a double take".

My aim, which was really on, was what made it seem that way Junky.  Batfink has seen me when I can't hit the broadside of a barn.   :lol

come on people! It'd be nice if the folks that signed up for this thing actually showed up!
Maybe next time we can have these rounds in one day to speed things up a bit.
Lighten up Francis

Mike254 - check your personal messages.  I've sent two.  PM me on availabilty.
PM’d Mike254 twice with no response.

I’ll duel Karaya in lieu of Mike254, if BaldEagl permits.

It seems we had a bit of a shakey first week.  Hopefully things will get better this week.

First of all, we've had a few in-game name changes.  They are:

In-Game   -   Was   -   BBs
DBCooper   -   uptown   -   uptown
snuggie   -   caldera   -   caldera
Spektor   -   viper10   -   ACE

We had seven duels that did not take place.

ForkTail, Jrjolly and Strip all forfeit their duels due to various reasons.  This allowed Agent360, akELFY, and SkyRock to advance.

Kazan, RufLeak, Sandwich and texastc posted in this thread, making an obvious attempt to set-up their duels while their opponents (Cobra516, Mike254, Steve and zig50) did not, so they advance according to the rules (refer to the first post on page one of this thread).

Relative to unfought duels, this was the worst week in the short history of this event.  At least we didn't have to resort to a random draw (which would have been a first) to resolve a duel.

I allowed jerkins and Sunbatt to duel a week early for this round as Sunbatt was going to be out of town part of this week.  In a case such as this it's not only my decision but also that of the opposing player as I want everyone to have the time they need and not to feel any pressure to rush to get something in.  jerkins graciously accepted in this case.

Once this happened I was asked by another if I would let them duel early.  While I'm willing to work with special circumstances I don't want to keep assigning planes and updating the bracket every day.  Add to that the additional confusion when I'm already trying to track who didn't duel, who posted trying to arrange their duels, who didn't post, who's not posting results correctly, who didn't read the rules so I have to reiterate them, etc., etc., etc...

Please limit your requests to "special" circumstances.

The following players have byes this week.  Everyone else fights:

batfinkv
Bosco
DadRabit
DrBone
JunkyII
Qrsu
Spektor
texstc
Tongs

Will all of that said,  Congratulations to those who advanced to the next round.  We (I say that figuratively since I'm once again eliminated in round 1) are once more fighting two rounds simultaneously (Elimination rounds 2 and 3).  Here's the updated bracket and good luck to all in the next round:

Not sure if I missed something but Kil02 and I haven't fought at all yet but he's already passed me on the bracket, he fought slimmer last week.
