hey try clearing out your films folder, might work. Either that or check you have the right maps, skins, gunsites, etc etc downloaded. I've been trying to make mine play a Scenario film that keeps freezing with no luck, though most films work for me now.
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

BE has alot of work to do sorting this out! Therefore I counter request that you do it, boomerlu, as it would be a good service no doubting.  :devil
Not a bad idea either, I'll let everybody know if I've got time for it.

Ah screw it.  What claim are we protecting against?  I lied when I posted that I lost?   :D

P-51b  -  SkyRock
P-38g  -  Zap
F4u-1  -  Zap

<S>  Great fights Zap, good luck in the tourney!  Tnx for your patience with my comp...it's a dog.  :aok

I've refrained from making predictions or stateing my opinions of the players and match-up's in these tournaments but I do have to say I'm surprised SkyRock lost.  WTG Zap.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Actually, I’m not.  I didn’t know who would win. Not because I thought SkyRock would loose because he is not a good stick (we all know he is very good), it’s because I’ve fought ZAP before and could tell that he is good.  When you throw “any given Sunday” into the mix, it is really not that surprising that it turned out the way it did.  The same can be said for every one of the fights from now to end of the finals.

Solid evidence that yesterday was the luckiest day of my life:

I'm looking for the fight w/ the disco which will close the case, as Skyrock had me on the ropes :). It  was also close to a ten minute fight I think.

Zappy, that was the one where I raked you from nose to tail on a mini-rope and nothing...I think the lag was already started...when we got down in the canyon I was seeing warping....I even had a front 1/4 down there too that could have been legit, but homey don't play that...you worked to hard to get hosed on a 6degree deflection...lolz....then comp freeze...

To sum it up, I will post what I posted to my squaddies....which was a self assessment and somewhat biased...lolz...but I thought I hit it pretty spot on!   Hope it doesn't take away from Zap...he really flew darn near flawlessly!  its a compilation of 2 or 3 posts about the fights...

"Just wasnt my night bud..... beat him 51b's, had him beat in 38g's, ended up playing to conservative when I should have been aggressive..... shot the twittle out of him in hog-1s, but was laggy, and eventually ended up freezing comp....then I came back and played initial merge wrong on redo and augered in the scissors..

he was merging real good, beating me out on every one...but I was reversing it pretty good, and got position on him
.. but I just didn't fly aggressive enough when I needed to, plain and simple....    kinda had it in the bag...then let a crack open and he took it...

.... usually, that would've been over in that 38g round....  but that is why I like the tourney aspect...any given sunday... last night was Zap's sunday....  he fought like a winner, and moves on as one.   he beat me on every merge as far as getting the E/alt adv....he called it your merge, Del....looked like Rat's old merge, nonetheless, he flew it very well, I just wasn't being aggressive with it....
I got him on reversals but just couldn't finish him....partly rust.....partly he flew his sack off!

I like him,  he's a very nice fella and predictably one of the new uber sticks of AH along with a few other up and coming very aggressive, very solid sticks coming out of the woodworks lately.   The 80th have done very good with those guys, great attitudes and great fights from them."

<S> again Zap  nice win and good luck!

Mark

Thanks for the kind words Mark, means a lot coming from a stick that even one respects. I was lovin' your flap use on those flat turns (even as I was getting beat by it), and you can expect I'll be bothering you sometime in the future to learn a bit more about it. <S>
