Ditching
« on: October 07, 2009, 07:57:11 PM »
Why is it when you kill a ground vehicle, base stops flashing and you're no more than 200 yards off base. You get a "ditch" message when you tower out?

Because you POed the wing XO and now he has it in for you.  Plus you forgot to give the CMSGT a Christmas present last year.  Now you know.  :rofl

It's SUPPOSED to be that you took some sort of hit, and therefor ditched.

I understand the rules for a safe landing vs. a proxy when you tower out, but ditching in a gv still confuses me.  What are the conditions for a ditch?
