Thunder......I have a print by Williams  (if I remember correctly) of "Pistol Packin Momma" rtb over the channel with some battle damage and #4 feathered.  Two razorback Jugs pickup Momma to bring her home safe.  The name of the print is
"When Prayers are answered".  Momma and her crew were happy to have those two razorbacks bring her home.  Google  it....it's probbly the most beautiful print
that I own....and I have a few.

If you five did not help out, i know for a fact that many more of those bombers weren't going home. 4 of us would have never been able to fight off 4 F4U4s and 2 tempests i know that. <S> and thank you guys

91st BG B-17F makes a low pass before landing at Bassingbourne, England.  According to notes attached to the photo she would be lost 10 weeks later on a raid to Leverkusen, the entire crew would spend the remainder of the war as POW's.
