Though I didn't have much of a chance to get to know him, I did have plenty time getting to know the other Rook fliers who were around his age and experience. Just as sad to see Rodders go as any. I do recall flying with him a few times, and I can't in any honesty say anything bad about him. May he rest in peace.

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

This is from Rodders daughter

"Please could you let all of your aces high buddies know all your thoughts and good will wishes are very welcome, but unfortunately my dad passed away the same day as his mother, we are finding it very hard to talk about but i will be in touch again soon.

If you do see dad appear on aces high don't worry it will probably be my son aka. grandads co-pilot. But before i go i think its only fair that you know dad ironically passed away in an air ambulance :-)"

Thanks for the update Charlie. In talking to FtJr earlier it seemed his death was still a bit of a mystery to you guys. Closure is good.
