I say no to the rank idea Texas. However I would love to see icons above the shore battery, so heavy ridicule weapons can be employed against offenders.

Or, a self destruct button that you can blow that player out of the Shore Battery barrel and back to the CV
Players name would be nice on the Shore Batteries. Or when you are looking in the menu over the Shore Batteries when you are in tower, and you can see the name of the player that are in the turrets.
