Schwerer Wurfrahmen 40 (German Halftrack w/rockets)
« on: October 12, 2009, 02:31:25 PM »
Quick question since my search failed (don't know if I was searching wrong or it has never been asked).  With the rockets being variable at either 33 degrees or 70 degrees.  what have you guy snoticed as the average effective firing range?  Reason I ask is that without an aiming sight I have to use other techniques to aim somewhat effectively.  Now I know rockets are 100% accurate but was just wondering what others do for range determination and/or techniques?  I have been practicing with this thing since it came out and just when I think I have it figured out it seems as if I lose my way and have to start over.  Now I know my elevation to target and all have a say in the formula but again just curious as to what others have experienced and used to solve the use of these rockets.
