And railway marshalling yards - we have none!  :old:
Here we are, living on top of a molten ball of rock, spinning around at a 1,000mph, orbiting a nuclear fireball and whizzing through space at half-a-million miles per hour. Most of us believe in super-beings which for some reason need to be praised for setting this up. This, apparently, is normal.

Just FYI, trains run out of the City and in to the Factories and HQ. Truck convoys run out of the Factories and into the fields. Barges can replace land convoys.

Thinking more on it, I realized that trains/convoys don't leave their respective starting locations any more (I think they ran the whole route in AHI, or at least spawned from their starting point and ran to the little shack before popping up at the little shack on the other end). Now-a-days they simply spawn at the shack at the end of the road leading out from the field/factory, but the idea behind it is that they're coming from the above places.

Well they could move the strats closer to the bases along with armored trains suppling them you would have to take out the auto ack from the strat along with the supply train and then be able to attack town. Just another thought on the options that could be implemented.

I have a semi-related question:  to stop resupply of a factory site is it sufficient to kill only the locomotive before the train gets there or do you have to blow up the whole train?

I believe killing the engine of a train stops its resupply. Supply happens upon arrival, and if it never arrives...

Trains/Convoys/Barges take fifteen minutes to get from their depot to the destination (Yes, you can see a train go a bazillion miles an hour if you lay its track across the map), so trains have a finite lifetime to respawn fresh at the depot.

I'm rather confused as to when all of this 15s turned to 10s. Almost EVERYTHING used to be 15 minutes, now suddenly it's only the hangars.

Oh well.

I'll admit it......  I've sat there with nothing better to do but wait for the train.

How about secondary explosions from the ammo cars behind the engine
