greens is a good man, and his post was 100% understandable even to a foreigner like me. He deserves a <S> for the apologizes about his warp-addiction. Once I remember he was warpy and ppl around him, country-mates Rooks, told him he was warping; he relogged trying to fix his issue.

I don't recall seeing any posts in the technical support forum by greens about how to fix his problems.  Satellite is about the only connection that will be problematic, but even with a Sat. connection there are tweaks and settings to improve it.

I have flow on some of the worst connections, including Sat., and have been able to tweak 'em to make them flyable.

If greens was sincere he'd put forth the effort to fix the situation.

as for the warps....I said this on channel 200 the other night cable pulling is a myth!!!! I heard something about when you get close to a plane the detail of the plane itself gets better and this could be the reason it seems like they warp once you get into firing range.

When you get under D400 (IIRC) the plane textures change to a higher res. texture and could max out your Ram and cause your computer to switch to its swap file and yes, can cause warp/stutters.

Well perhaps he will, lute...he has only just decided on using the boards by the looks.... I don't know what has been happening lately but I've been up against Greens many times and haven't had any issue with him warping....(maybe cause I'm from NZ and our connection is that much slower)....There are guys out there (you all know who they are) who know they warp and do it from the time they up and don't give a toss at all.....give the man the benefit of the doubt, he has made a start.,

Not everyone on AH knows what a PC is and how it works. I heard many saying: << I can barely turn on my PC to play AH>> while trying to help them with the graphics update. Hence, dont assume that every player knows how to access those kind of settings about connection.
