Summer is over, ACES HIGH time... Why should I come back??

Good day all !
Stopped playing early Spring 2009.
Play the game for dogfighting with Spitfires and 95% of the time in Early and Mid arena.

Don't give a "(*%%@@@" about scores but did get bored with the competitive players crying, running away not to
risk their TOP RANKS and all other BS. Was a fair spitfire pilot and could give the top guys a good scrap.
Tried being respectfull during gameplay but there was always a rotten apple destroying my mood when playing...

Enjoyed my summer with another hobby(hot-rod cars) but the AH good times haunted me.
I have recently been reading some threads on the forum and seeing some good  'ol friends still at it.
Never forgot and recognize the ONES that should keep their trap shut 

Salute to my rivals !  Slapshot, Lazydogs, Shuffler, ack-ack, Mace snaphook Bigplay and many other good sticks !

Still debating if I should come back.

There's one thing I might do is stick with Snap-shots and AvA when Spitfire pilots are in need.
Scores are not an issue in AvA. Serious missions and formation flying is what I enjoy most.
Realistic scenarios....

Howdy OPP... good to hear you've been doing well.

The AVA has been flatlining mostly these days. They are currently trying to revive it.

EW is still pretty quiet.

MW was declining but may be on the rise again.

I've even been flying LW mostly. I drop into the MW arena from time to time and find a rare good fight. Just last night a few of the 80th were in there and I had a great fight with 2 spits and a 38 on my 38. Of course I died. Was really fun and I enjoyed it emensely. For the most part the best fights you'll find are in the LW arenas now.

I have pretty much taken the summer off too ... now that it's getting colder, I most likely will be jumping back into the cockpit again soon. I still will mostly fly the MW, but there are times you can find me in the LW Blue arena.

Like anything there are ups and downs, good nights and bad night.  I think the good nights still outweigh the bad nights as long as I have the right attitude before logging in.   There will always be those players that you find annoying for one reason or another just try to focus on the good stuff, don't let the bad/annoying stuff get to you and have fun, there's still plenty to go around.

Slap and Shuffler, you gave me an "handfull" when we fought.

Soulyss, I came across you a few times and I remember(after the merge), I said to myself: "Crap he knows what he's doin' !"
Don't recall the outcome but certainly remember that you were a pilot to respect !

I think I know what I will be doin IF I COME BACK !
The arenas will be visited for the purpose of getting the rust out of my mid-range skills.
After that, it will be AvA and scenarios only....

Nice to hear from you(s) and flattered that you still remember the scraps....

Oh oh !
I tried very hard to fight a fair fight with the zero. You know your plane and I know my Spit. I won't turn with ya.....
That means:  Don't give me a deflection shot on the merge, I'll take it !

Don't like the HO's but in my books, two times where I think its good.
1) When outnumbered, need quick kills to bring the odds even.
2) When fighting the Zeke when flown by a good pilot. Can't get on his six !

Hey, come to EW every now and then.  I don't give a crap about my score...it just happens as a result of playing - good or bad.  I'll up a SpitV or Hurri-1 and give ya some fun fights.  I used to play for score when I first started, but now it's all about the fight.  Most nights 8-10pm Central Time.

It would be nice to see you back in action just seems wrong to see Black70 in an arena and not you. You two were always wing men together. I lost interest myself for a while but where else can you have this much fun for $14.95 a month. Hope to see you in the cartoon wars.
