Goon missions aren't totally lacking.


But, I'm eager to see a less angular version of the C47 as well.

Well how about enabling formations for goons?

I mean, you could triple the troop requirement for a base to make up for it. Would make it a little more challenging for GV captures yeah but at least you'd need more than one pass on the goons to take them down so a single fighter wouldn't be able to completely spoil a capture even when chased.

Not and stay honest  :aok. I mean really you can't say that your always bored with goons or that goons are never fun. I shot one that landed 5k from our base for some reason. Bet that guy would argue with you...

I do it too. Rarely take less than 75% fuel for a reason. Generally, that's just being dedicated.

The related point I was making was that you have no guns, no bombs, not much airspeed, and are mostly a walking target. Might as well get a pretty plane out of it.

its funny when lots of new pilots ask for goon escort.  when I fly the goons I dont want a friendly anywhere near me, they attract the fiters.  besides fiters escorting goons only means there's gonna be multiple films of the goons getting shot down. and I never take more than 25% fuel. if town is not ready when i get there and I dont mean in the most direct way, then most likely they're vulching the field only  :lol.

That's all true, and also why I only run goons for my group. :) Generally when they mess up they try to fix it, so I find an inconspicuous place to loiter.

try loitering on the ground with a GV fight 1k away. I think I still have a vid of me buzzing a wirb in my C-47.
