Sorry guys but I fail to see what reading the arena message explains, other than nothing but "watch your ass". This is my first year playing AHII so would you please explain what is so "THHpecial" about the "CON" arena.

Aces High is having a convention right now.

This weekend.

There are people that have paid good money to show up and have face time with the actual HTC cast and crew, and hear news, ask questions, play with each other face to face (bringing their computers), and often during this time HiTech himself will do something to the main arena for their benefit (maybe to show them something, or to enable flying PT boats, or enable guns on the RV7s, etc -- typically referred to as "the evil Con mission" etc)

So that's the story. You happened to get caught in the Con arena.

All the old timers know what's happening, and like HiTech in Santa's sleigh on Christmas eve, it's something most of us look forward too. In this case, all the convention goers get some kind of special ride for a couple of hours on Saturday night of the convention, and the rest of us try to find them and shoot em down.
Easy in-game again.

Ok, I want my F-22 Raptor and A-10's then, also all variants of load outs that go with them.

Was nice to see everyone in the same arena on a saturday night.  I guess HT didn't want have to deal with arena caps.  :rock

well we had about 360 people split evenly before i logged.  It gave the old feel of a Massively multiplayer fight with a proper furball swinging relentlessly between two fields.  I didn't have to go looking for a fight or swap fields for 2 hours.  It was intense and fun.

I can't comment on how many guys were online when the con mission kicked off.  Just thought it was a little funny that the caps didn't remain in place so that the Con mission could get in the same arena....

Well I for one had a good ol time last night. Was big fun once HT gave Bish A1 as we had no bases any close to that area. I even shot one of those FOKRs down. I'm already working on killing wife-ack for next years Con.
:salute to all at HTC and da Con goers.
