WWI FSO Poll
« on: October 19, 2009, 08:03:48 PM »
I am just thinking/planning ahead here. After the WWI arena is released would you be interested in a WWI FSO tour, (usual 3 week stint)? Of course we might wait till they add a few more AC, but I wanted to hear from the FSO community.

From the HTC home page.

We are pleased to announce an upcoming expansion to the Aces High plane set that will introduce World War I (WWI) air combat to the skies of Aces High. The initial four plane set will consist of the Fokker Dr.I, Sopwith Camel, Bristol F.2B, and Fokker D.VII.

These new planes will be available in a separate WWI dogfight arena and will also be available for special events. They will be the first planes to use a new damage system with greatly expanded capability.

The WW1 arena in the old Air Warrior game was fun and I bet this one will be too!  I'd participate.  Looking forward to flying slower and dying just as fast.

Yes, I think it only natural to expand the possible scenarios.

But, you are 100% correct, we need a better, more complete plane set, and not just the late-war (1917-1918) aircraft like the F.1/DR.1/D.VII plane-set they have chosen to tease us with.

As you are well aware, there are already too many gaps in the current WW2 plane-set, so we will probably have a long time to wait...

I'm sure the 325Th will be there. My squad seems to like the diversity like GV battles and such. Just hope the maps are smaller. Flying 4 or 5 sectors out in a biplane could get tiring. :uhoh
