Jugs I'd like to see:

P-47M-1 - fastest prop plane of the war, a great escort plane, which can run down any prop interceptor at hi alt, and light enough to scrap with the best of the German AF fighters. This is a sentimental favorite for my squad since it was historically a 56th FG only plane.
P-47N - only slightly slower than the M, but with much greater range, and capable of carrying 3000 lbs of bombs
P-47D-21-RA, serial SN: 42-25512, code LM*Q - late model razorback jug, less range, but lighter, better turning and better climbing than current AH bubbletops. This jug should have max manifold pressure of 72". A great dogfighter for the MA.
P-47C or D-5 - early model razorback jug for 1943 Air Force scenarios

Ki-100 used Ki-61-II's airframe.
SF or NATE can make Ki-100 (Ki-61-II) easily after releasing Ki-61-II (Ki-100).

While Juzz is correct about the low numbers of the Ki61-II, I still believe that for our purposes of finding a JAAF aircraft that is competitive in the main arena, the Ki61-II is superior to the Ki-100. Sure the Ki-100 is a better turner, but you give up so much speed that it just isn't worth it.

I hope to eventually see the Ki84 and the Ki61-II.

All we need is the late war variant of the Jack, talk about a screamer and a turner to boot. The Ki-84 would also be nice but it might be to much for this room. Add the P-40 and you will see a plane that will never see action.

Ki-67 a must have
Ki-102 a definate must have
Fiat G.55 Centauro You want an Italian plane that will kick the crap out of a lot of planes this is it.
Ju-52 we got the goon why not this one?

Heya's,

I also want the hot-rod P-47 but I think the N would be a better choice.

1. It was just as fast as the M but was heavier because of an increased fuel capacity. But you don't need to carry extra fuel. So then it is just as fast!!

2. It had clipped wings that increased roll rate over prior Jug's and the M.

3. There really is no 3 except that it would have Pac marking's and fit in with the 1.07 theme of late war pac monsters ie.

We'll probably see one or two brit planes, couple russian and couple jap planes in next version.
Probably maybe one more version of some US plane.

LW will probably see just one new version or a plane.. if even that.
(at least they could add those rockets and 1000kg/2000lb bombs for the planes!)

Ah, dont expect too much from the G.55. It is a good 1943 high alt inteceptor with the max speed of a 109G-6 (less than 390mph TAS at 23K, that is). Quite deadly, tho, with her 3x20mm and *much* more maneuverable than a 109 with gondolas.

The DB603 engined G.55, called G.56 (a few prototypes built and tested), could be a nice perk indeed, with her 430-440mph TAS at altitude

Yes, and they would both be outclassed in the AH arena. The Ki-84 is the only real choice for the first JAAF fighter in AH.

Upon further notes on the G-56 After the fall of Italy," Heard 26 allied sodiers took Italy" The 56 was brought back and formed for the defense of the Reich, forming 1 or 2 squadrons, or staffels I will have to check not sure on exact number. But I know they were being used up to the point of the russians taking Berlin. It's heavy loadout of MG 151's is a nice outfit of guns IMO.

What we need is more PAC planes. I would like to see the addtion of one of my favorite dweeb-mo-biles.....The B25H with the 75mm gun and the 8 .50's in the nose. Load outs would include 8 Rockets, 500 pound skip bomb capability and of course parachute bombs for those low level sorties. Now this is JABO-DA-HUT to the max. Would be great as an anti shipping ride. We would then have to have random supply shipping to straff....oh man I get a woody just thinking about it

Oh and it would need loud speakers blaring "Flight of the Valkery" (sp) or Guns and Roses welcome to the jungle.

Hey Sancho, I think we Jug pilots are going to have to get a booze and pizza lobbying campaign going to HTC!

The solution to the problem of which version to model (M or N) is simply to model both.
