B-25J Variant

IMO the 25H is great, but I'd love to see the J variant added. I wouldnt think it would be too hard to add. Just my little wish though.

That thing would make the 110G-2 look like a wussy when it comes to taking down OBJ via guns.  The only problem would be the B25x's horrible dive capability.

Keep in mind that includes the defensive guns as well as the forward package. However with two in the tail, one at each waist position, and two in the top turret that still leaves 12 forward guns. I'd hate to try and HO THAT much firepower.

I really wish they would just make the B25J Glass Nose as it would have a higher survivability in the MA's than the B25C. Although I'm not dissing the B25C's ability to defend itself, I know of a few Me262's that have fell to it's tiny turrets.

I'm looking through the 345th BG history here and for awhile I was beginning to think that they had removed the side/chin guns from the J straffers and just used the 8 guns in the front nose.  Then I found a picture of a J-22 model B-25 that was delivered to the 499th squadron on January 13th 1945.  In the photo you see the usual cluster of eight in the nose plus two guns in a blister pack in the usual location under the pilots window, it's safe to assume there's another on the other side which gives twelve .50 caliber machine guns in the nose, plus the top turret was retained just aft of the cockpit and could in theory lend it's two guns to the attack, fourteen forward firing fifties.

Don't forget the glass nose bomber version, would be nice to have atleast a tail gun when I want to do level bombing in a 25.

I agree, I'd love to see a J model, not only for better defenses while bombing, but especially for the 12-pack in the nose!

I know, I know, only 300rpg or so, not all that much, but it would still be a sweet thing to play around with!
