Excellent cactus!

I'm confused, easy enough to do, and I am by no means a Jug expert, but doesn't our in-game "M" have a tail fillet?
In the picture of the RL "Teddy" it appears not to have one?

Not trying to stir anything, just curious.

Well I was referring to the picture of the Real Life "Teddy".  I'm old and my eyes ain't what they used to be, but dern if I can see one there. On another thread however, it said that the fillet was added after the planes arrived. That would explain the missing?? fillet in the picture??

Yes it would, if you look at some B-Model 51s you'll find the same, a field mod persue.

A lot of mixed photos...some showing no fillet and other showing one installed.

This one doesn't have a fillet and is supposedly an M model:

The P-47M was based upon a version of the P-47D that didn't have the fillet installed at the factory. All Ms were upgraded in the field to include the fillet.
