Destructable Re-Arm Pads

I think this would be a great additionf or the following reasons:

  :aok It would make supression of bases more easy, by show of hands how many of you have had your mission thwarted by that extra wirble/osti that snuck to the re-arm pad and killed your troops?

 :aok It would give porkers something to snort about.

 :aok I think it would just be good to have.

Actually like this idea...would give more motivation to both attackers and defenders...but I'd make it at least 1,000lbs so someone can't fly by in one pass and kill them both...

Don't like the idea myself, no offense intended. I'd much rather see the field cleared of enemy units than another strat to blow up. Just makes it safer for people to ignore gvs while taking a base. They are easy to eliminate as it is, let em have their ammo.


EDIT: I'd personally take it a step further if it was up to me. Require town to be down but place the maproom at the actual base.

POrkers have plenty to snort about now with the suicide-dar suicide-ord suicide-whatever and the bombers that bomb-and-bail... besides the rearm pads? If your talking about VH rearm pads they dont do anything and field rearm pads are miles from the town.

No substance to your wish that I can see.

No.....I mean the rearm pads on air-bases.  You didnt even get the point of the wish.  And every wish has substance, had it no substance then it wouldn't be a wish.

I think what he was thrown off by was that your troops were killed by a wirb on a rearm pad miles from the town?

I am leaning in favor of this wish though as there have been plenty of times I kill ords at a base but someone who has already upped with ords just keeps rearming and bombing all the GV's.  If the base doesnt have ords to put on planes going up, how do they have ords for planes on a rearm pad?

Base grabbing can be done in less time than it takes to rearm a GV and then the GV still has to drive at least as far as gun range of the town.

So no I dont see the substance of your argument at all.  :rolleyes:
