Could definitely pass for a Japanese city, I think... not familiar with Japanese architecture of the '40s though

Still very traditional with, yes, peaked roofs.  Kyoto didn't get bombed, so it still has a bit that old Japanese city look.  Sadly for the grand old German and Japanese cities, many were changed to industrial blah in style by the rapid post-war rebuilding.

The pictures above of the new city are great. Big improvement from what we have now. I keep seeing guys saying it could be better by not looking so American.

Give HTC a break. Its a huge improvement and I will be very happy with it.

besides, if HTC did buildings with pointy roofs you would hear guys complain about framerates. Once again its a balancing act to make the community happy. They could of just left the town as is. This will bring a lot to the game.

Nice work!!!  Another improvement to AH!!!   :salute

I didnt see a figure on the number of destroyable buildings the new city is going to have as compared to the current city.... by chance may we have an approximate figure???

Either way, it will be good to drop an entire load of ord in one pass on a city and not run out of targets (as it appears in the pics, anyways), AND not have to turn around for a second or third pass to have targets to hit.   :)

Are there updates on teh way for the other strat targets as well?   :)

Very nice work, HTC.   :aok

now... about that updated Mossi...  ;)

Does HTC have a rough approximation as to when they will bring in this city on the updates?

Don't see or go to the HQ or cities more than once a month now. A gift to the Bomber pilots I guess. Is there a town update also?

Sure seems that way. About one a month since they updated the terrain.

At the CON Hitech said the strat changes would be the next release, and the release after that will be the WW1 arena.

So unless somethings changed (or unforeseen problems) it should be soon.
