win 7 and vox

anybody having problems with win 7 64 bit and using vox?  for some reason my mike dont work anymore.  was working on win xp but quit after installing win7.  I can hear fine, well actually sounds are clearer now including incoming vox.

just a hunch.........do you have

"hear yourself"  checked under your audio settings? in win7?  If so uncheck it..then you should be ok.........still may need to do some minor tweaking........... others tell me my vox is a little off in Windows 7 compared to WinXP...........after tweaking my settings ingame and in win7 64 bit it  is almost as good now compared to WinXP

NOTE* I am sleepy and my instructions may be somewhat off..to tired to switch OS's at this time and do a thorough walk thru.....

You might try going through the Windows 7 "Speech Recognition/Microphone setup" in the control panel, if you haven't already. 

It will help you set up your mike to the correct levels, and eliminates the game environment as a variable if things aren't working.
