Thursday Night
« on: October 29, 2009, 08:20:47 PM »
<S> to the guys that flew Thursday night. We had a pretty good fight going on when I had to log off at 9:00 EST.
I'm curious to hear from the guys that flew Japanese. Do you feel the setup was fairly balanced and gave you a fighting chance?
I'm working on some more setups with a narrower focus on two to three plane types to bring out the impact of those aircraft in
history. So I'd like some feedback.

I enjoyed fighting against you 334th guys. You gents were awesome in the Ki-61.
Gaspains you did great job in the Zeke.

<S> All.

I just had a handful of sorties in there.... with Soulyss, Bear, Shamus, Dutch, TBarone, N7, Jaeger1, cactus, ShowTime, 1Duke1 and others...was over 20+ on for a good while....

no BS crap on 200channel. just people talking about the fun fights and the FUN we were all having.....

I had a sortie where I lost both outer wings & both ailerons, 5 guns, left gear, and my oil was hit (edit: was in my F4U-1 )....... trying to make that thing fly straight to RTB was dauntingly hard....... ended up going dead stick bout 2k out from the field and had to ditch it in the water....... but the immersion factor of it all was what I enjoyed most  :aok...with me hollering I am dragging a Tony(Ki-61) and I can't fly missing to many parts..... :rofl

I wished I had not logged on so late, but the handful of flights I got to do wore me out anyways .......

Thank You AvsA staff and the attending squads and flyers for giving me a FUN FILLED evening regardless if I got shot down or landed safely......was a night to remember

Nope.  Glued to the TV until 11:30, reassuring myself that I still dislike the Yankees.

Got in early and had to duck out early... But had a blast last night while I was there.  Nice match up imo.

<S> Shifty, I know I speak for the other Eagles when I say "great job!" to you and the Jaegermon.
I was only on for maybe an hour, but it was a blast!  Even tho' I wasn't flying my ride (bent wing birds rule!)  I thought the matchup between the Corsair and the Tony was a good one.
