We have a lot of WWII AIRCRAFT
I don't know  of any on line game that has more.
If you have a request; please send it to HTC.
I am sure they will consider it.
But the WWI arena is a good idea :aok
This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron.—Dwight Eisenhower, April 16, 1953

500+ in FSO......we get 800 alot of nights for Titanic Tuesday and you see more people on late at night during TT unlike every other night where you got about 80. Sry but I dont think events make AH like alot of people think they do.

And many would cancel their accounts without FSO; that's a fact.

Funny how one knows what many would do!!! I would like to see that poll.

Not just scenarios. Scenarios are the most publicly visible event, but not the most populated.

How many players are in LW Orange on a given night? 250? 350?

How many players fly FSO every friday, months on end, year after year? They're breaking 500+ every Friday folks.

You know usually, it's about 600 combined in all arenas. On FSO, it's 'bout 500 in the arena, plus another 100 or so in each LWA. There's as many people in LWOrange as the arena CAP will let there be.
No one knows what the future may bring.

"we get 800"...We is all of us.  MA and special events are one and the same for the most part.  The MA is used as a practice arena and a full-purpose arena.

Also, I don't understand this part, "I dont think events make AH like alot of people think they do."  This is unclear and potentially dangerous in starting a huge argument over nothing.  So please explain politely what you mean.  <S>

I understand why people like events and why they participate in them. I just didnt understand why people smashed wishs which werent needed for events. Everyone wants the HE111 because of BOB but that event would be what once maybe twice a year?, the rest of the year it will just be a hangar queen because its too slow and not very good armour. When you said the MA is used as practice arena I kinda got an understanding of your mind set towards the game which is completely cool and I understand. But for the games sake I think newer people mainly buzz around the MA and that should be the fucos for developement to the game. I liked a wish a while back where someone asked if we could have almost bridge towns where you fighted over control for a bridge. Things like this i think would make the game have more intense battles in the MA unlike what we see today with a furball somewhere in the corner of a map, and Hordes taking bases NOE. POTW now splits off the rest of the country just to create a less dominating fight where you can get more action even if we dont take the base we still had lots of fun trying. What Im getting at is fucos should be aimed at the MA to make gameplay better since 90+% of the time by players is spent in Orange and Blue :salute

Without FSO there would be a good possibilty I would cancel mine.

FSO is the best part of this game. Could be better with more planes yes. In our squad we have guys that fly FSOs only. They are here for historical part, not the MA gameplay.

I would be one that would prolly leave without FSOs. I would give myself 2 weeks of MA play before I got sick of it.

To me it seems the common misconception here is that if HTC is working on something other than filling in the WWII plane set it will never be done. From what I've seen of the operation they will continue to fill in the plane set and do things that may generate additional revenue for the company. Waffle's screen shots of the huge city are pretty cool and would be great models for London or Berlin that could be used for FSO ops. I'm all for additional rides of both eras. One of my favorite planes will probably never make it to the plane set, the HE-162.

Meanwhile, look back of the last 10 years and see how many planes have been added from the initial plane set. Yeah some of the graphics are dated but how many have been totally redone? I think it's a fantastic achievement that this game has stood up on it's own over the the last 10 years. 20+ if you include AirWarrior, and WarBirds. Yes HiTech did do a lot of work with AirWarrior, enough he was flying free for years on GEnie and had credits there when GEnie folded.

I guess the basic premise is no matter what HTC does some folks will continue to whine if what they want for themselves isn't happening right now.  :neener:

SB, remember the words a wise man we all know and love once said: Show me a better WW2 Combat sim and I'll be there in a heartbeat.

Let the whiners whine. It keeps 'em off the streets
