If you fly straight then the picture is true. If you chop throttle and make any move what-so-ever the average spit pilot does one of the following:
1. rams you
2. overshoots
3. augers
4. (if in 16) runs

Yes but we are Spit DWEEBS, not Spitnoobs. You see the Spit Dweeb in a 16 will PWN just about anything that CAN'T run away from it. The difference with noobs is that besides the lack of skill the 16 has a vicious stall tendancy which makes it easy for old hands to exploit.

But even in a noobs hand, an unchecked spitfire is probably the biggest menace in this game and the (-S.D.C-) prides itself in being said menace  :devil

 Yes I'm a Spit Dweeb and I do go in and mix it up , unafraid and knowing all the while there is a hanger , and in this hanger is a whole box full of more Spits for me to fly after every death I suffer . Its what it is and most of all its fun !

After reading this thread. I went to the game and immediately upped a Spit 16. With it I sunk a carrier :joystick: :cheers: in a strafing attack. No really I actually got the kill. :headscratch: Then I shot down my normal favourite ride, a Corsair, then flew to an enemy base and killed a P51 that foolishly tried to HO me. Not only that I actually landed both kills. 

So I'm now a Spit dweeb.  :neener:

You have to say it. The real Spitfire is a great aircraft, easy to fly, manoeuverable and with good armament. The game version only reflects that.

I'll fly it more often now :airplane: particularly for furballs.

We have a Consortium of 12. Do yall have, or will yall have anything simular?


Corkyjr (Dan, creator of the AH 80th and SAPP) probably knows more about spits than most all of yall. Maybe he can help with info on the spits from time to time.

no need. just take the entire AH2 pilot roster, subtract the SAPP and voila.

All the dweebs bunched in one convenient place. Even if they deny it, they're spitdweebs.  :devil
