New DOT command .wind

I'm suprised nobody has posted about this yet.

Anyways, from what I have seen it is one confusing DOT command to use.  I was screwing around offline and came up with this.

The full dot command is .wind (minimum altitude of the wind) (course) (speed up to 127mph) (updraft speed from 0-127mph).

.wind 12000 225 30 45

That is wind starting at 12,000 feet of altitude (and goes up to a hardcoded limit of 30,000 feet that I haven't found if I can change or not), is blowing southwest at a speed of 30mph and has an updraft of 45 mph.

I did a "stupid pet trick" and set a headwind of full 127mph at ground level and took a B26 up.  I actually never left the airport.  I just went straight up.  Hell, if I rode the stall at 100mph I could go backwards.

Even more interesting is the panzer. (bug) Aparently it really IS very un-areodynamic.  I had come down from the v56 hill to shell a26...then decided to play with the wind...and promptly was blow back UP the hill.  I only set a 20mph wind, but it was enough to get my panzer up to 90mph in reverse (then I fishtailed and flipped).

Hans.

Hi Hans, one question.
Usually, when wind infos are displayed you get the direction the wind blows from.
When you get ocean current infos you have the opposite situation.
From what you wrote I understand the wind was blowin from 225°. Am I right?
