I think it's to warm to play hockey down there.

Am I the only wings fan here?

Another Dallas loss in overtime, Wednesday night.  Facepalm!~

There's Wings fans everywhere Skulls!~   A great team with a great winning tradition.  Even my kids cheer for the wings.  (Another Facepalm!~)  I think my kids like the bold red jerseys.  My wife and I are both Stars fans, so they didn't learn it from us.

A comment on TV coverage.

I've always found that canadian broadcasts give you more of the game.  The direction (as in management) of the cameras is much better.

Hockey is not a game that you zoom in for a close up of the dude with the puck as he goes up the ice.  He ain't a running back.

I've noticed too that crews seem to struggle with widescreen format.  Often the picture is half rink/half crowd.  Or they zoom out so far that the players on screen are a half inch tall on my 40" LCD.

At least they're not using the friggin glowing puck anymore!~

History?

Terry Sawchuk

In the stanely cup playoffs, he saved 102 out of 104 shots he faced. that's a save percentage of .981
So..... I think the wings have the best goalie in history, eh?
