Okies... where should i be seting my convergence? It would seem like it would depend on the weapon? Diff converg's for diff wep's and planes? I fly the C205 alot.. it has a nose cannon correct thus no true converg there.... ?

Of course, I only see what he posts here and what he does in the MA.  I know virtually nothing about the man.  I think its important for people to realize that we don't really know squat about each other.... definately not enough to use words like "hate".

Yes, it does depend on the weapon.

Convergence will matter for nose mounted weapons.  When you specify convergence in AH, it will adjust the vertical angle of the weapon as well as the horizontal.  So, regardless of where you set your convergence, make it the range you plan to do your killing at.

FYI, I fly the Jug, and with 8x.50 wing guns, convergence is very important.  I use a convergence of 300 for all guns and it works pretty well.  The best idea is to try different convergences for your plane and choose the one that works best for you.

With 8 guns to play with you do of course have the option of mixed convergence, for instance inner pair to 150m, next to 200, next to 250, outer to 300.  This will ensure a reasonably dense pattern at all likely fighting ranges, instead of a sharp focus at one range and more dispersed at others.

Hey thanks for the good info! I'll mess with it and see what the results are.

Ummmmm? I thought the convergence settings were done in yards?
