Figured I'd throw out another plane list for people to argue over. So, here we go:
ME-262:
I know it's coming, but I want a little bit of variety for this one. The ME-262A2 would be the fighter that we know we're getting, but I would also like to see the ME-262A1 Blitz Bomber. A jury-rigged piece of junk, I know, but it'd be nice for us mud movers to fly something with a little more kick than the Arados.
ME-163:
The Komet. With all these anti-buff threads, it would seem this plane is begging to be included. As a low-perk or no-perk aircraft, it would end up frequently used as the intercepter it was designed as. Just a word of caution though. In the real world, more pilots in 163's died from crashes and engine/fuel system malfunctions than they did in combat.
Meteor I and III:
The I would be the low/no perk version, and the III would be the pay-out-the-nose version. Having either or both would be a nice way to end up with some jet on jet action in CT
B-25:
Not just the plane itself, but also all the little gimmicks that was used with it. This would include carrier launches, pilot controlled machineguns, and parachute retarded bombs. And before anyone says something, I should point out that anyone who can get a loaded '25 off a carrier deck deserves to use it that way. Good luck landing though...no arrestor hook
Douglas Skyraider:
Arrived just a tad too late to be used in WW2, but it would be an interesting perkie attack plane, with a bombload that puts the B-17 to shame. It was also capable of carrying passengers inside it's ponderous fuselage. Armed Goon anyone?
Ok, thats my list for now. You may now commence flaming
