Brownbaron, I love the idea and think it mostly looks good, but you might want to zoom in around the aircraft and clean up the edges a little bit.
Contrary to Slash's compliment BMathis, I have to say that I don't like that picture...
It's got a spider. EEP! 
I've always wanted our shadows to be much darker. I wanted the dark silhoutte of the 109 against the bright setting sun, but the colors available to me were not so radiant..
As for the smudes and such, they are much less noticeable on my system at home (looking at this on another computer). I didn't notice some of them, others I went over in a low opacity to blend them in.
At any rate, I cranked it out in no more than 10 minutes.
