dude dont include the claim jumpers, I eat at their restaurant at least once every other week  :D.  I guess the point I was trying to make is that you wanna change somebody else's behavior because you dont agree by doing something that will basically upset everybody else.  kindda childish if I may say and dont take it personally.  If you wanna do it, go ahead.  I just think its funny when I see them people chasing your buffs in the DA.  :salute

Your right, it is childish, and it is annoying.

Wouldn't work because then you would just have others interfering in the 1v1's as they do now.

our squad has squad nite on the da every wedn we avoid furball lake and use any of the other bases, we have been doing this for about 2 months and only once we had a guy join and when we mentioned to him that it was a squad only  he promply augered  :salute.  not sure why you guys want a 1v1 or 8v8 arena since we play there and nobody bothers us.

Ok let me see you

Start from bases some 6k above sea level.
External views are on.
Perk planes are free.

Want some respect, come prove you can cut it in the main arena.
Its not so easy, but its well worth the try. Besides, if you can't cut it there is always the DA.

I seem to remember one time a few years ago, for some special reason we had 262's enabled in the DA. It got real boring, real quick.

Eh, the 262 wasn't what got to me. It was the 163 that bugged the hell outta me. Small, fast, rocket powered gliders with big guns...

Anywho, the DA is full of crap which is why I've branched out and started flying with the 82nd. More experienced pilots who are a helluva lot more fun to fly with vs a 10 sec life expectancy due to the vulching temp.

Easy to guess. ;)

The DA used to be fun, before it was infested with grievers and twits. Then it just went downhill and there was no experience to gain out of it.

I know there are many differing opinions on the furball lake in the DA, but one thing I think would somewhat equalize it would be to introduce a forced altitude cap of some kind.  Your tempest isn't as scary when it can't come in 10k higher than my 40 ENY plane.  It will at least force people to furball in the furball area.  I don't know if this is actually possible to code or not, but dense, zero visibility clouds anywhere above 10-12k that you can't see out of would probably suffice.  Just my thoughts. flame away.   :uhoh

There needs some kind of change in the DA I have noticed alot of good pilots leaving lately do to how bad it has gotten.I no there is a MA but that's not everyones fix,the skill level has dropped over the last year everyone wants to ho and run if some how there was a fix that the ho would had some kind of consequence and force these no skill pilots to try to acm.and as far for the temps 60% of the planes are now temps with guns set to 650 for one reason "hoin" never understood how that is fun!It would be great to have a furball lake designed to make people to put some skill back in.Take out the temps in the DA 50% problem fixed!Just like the 262 was taken out.

Yup that would be me... hardly ever go in there anymore. I finally woke up and realized how bad it was...

Sadly, I have to admit I started the whole problem in there when me and two others started a squad in there. It grew and grew and got to 3 branches in size which was ridiculous. Finally I saw the direction it was going in and just couldn’t take it anymore of it and left it along with the other founder. All that squad does anymore is just pick in numbers. You will typically see 5v1, 5v2, etc against them...

Sad thing was that you use to be able to fly with some really good guys in there, but just a few ruined it.

I would like to see eny re-introduced just because of how lopsided the sides are anymore. Don’t need perks counted, but just limit the aircraft they can take up. I have no problem with people flying temps or LA's or niki's etc in there but when they all start ganging up on people when they all are in them, then I do. Or if its 20v5v5 there is no need for them to all be in what normally would be perk planes. It’s impossible to get an honest fight there anymore.

exactly when its 20-9- 12 it seems everyone on starts to up in temps and then its temps 51 and who can ho best. The side that outnumbers should be limited on certain planes to even out, when your already out numbered and there's 23 temps up at 10 K waiting for 1v1 to start then drop in and pick.I myself have tried the MA more and more but Long flights to a base to fight just has not grown on me yet.Any change to the DA is improvement at this point.

Well, the ho and ram is terrible in all arenas, in 1 sortie last night in Lw was hoed and rammed twice by the same LA. The first one got my engine so as I was gliding back to earth he came back straight at me I gave him some 50 cals in the nose and he rammed me again. In another sortie it was a Nik but he had 5 buddies and the were all hoing I'd turn to avoid 1 then another would take his ho shot. I did get the nik though while my engine was out and he rammed me.

I'd like to see a 10k cloud layer in the Da with a 250mph downdraft above that and an ENY system like the MA's have. Don't think they'll ever put it in there put would be nice to see how it works. Maybe even a system that would automatically even out the sides over the lake.

I am the best ho'er in the ma in my humble opinion (except for one guy which i will not mention his name since i can never ho and win ).  however I will not ho (or try not to) in the da.  I go there for acm training, actually most of the time I end up dying without firing my guns but that's by choice.  but it does get annoying when some people will dive in from 20k then back up to repeat all over. same as for the dorks that will try to kill hangars, dar.  I wish ords and base damage was disabled in the furball lake.  have a altitude limit of perhaps 1k above base above that have some kind of magnetic field that would push the plane back down or something along those lines.
