Ok, what can you tell me about this plane, and do you think it would be a better addition that the He177? I know one thing and that the Ju290 is damn pretty!

Only about 50 was ever made and some of them got armament of 10MG151/20mm + couple MG's.
Bombload was about 3000kg which is quite a lot smaller than Greifs.
Thought that defensive armamentcould be nice to have

Thanks Staga, the defensive armanent sure looks good but as you mentioned the bombload isn't as good as the He177.

Construction of the Ju 290B-1 began in September 1943, but experience with studmuffin 5 showed that defensive armament was inadequate
