Snipers are fine depending on wich CoD your playing. CoD finest hour, big red one, and 3 seem fine for snipers. But I agree with you on more recent CoD's.

Sniping/camping is fun, especially when they try to hunt you and you still bag 'em by the truckload.

I go by SirCampsalot on the PC versions of CoD.

Can be fun for sure, until they spam nades at you when they know exactly where you are, that's why if I actually do camp I find a couple spots to run to...like on the Creek or Broadcast maps (two maps that are very popular on the servers my community hosts.

Oh, I never sit a spot for very long.  As soon as I take my shots, I'm up and moving to another spot, usually one that over looks my previous spot so I can tag those that came looking for me in my old spot.

Just can't get enough of it! I rate this game up there with the Ace Combat series! (Which, to me, was the absolute perfect series in every way)

I thought up a great kit for myself, and I love it!

Perk 1 - Marathon
Perk 2 - Lightweight
Perk 3 - Commando
Deathstreak Perk - Painkiller

Primary weapon - MP5
Secondary weapon - USP45 w/ tactical knife

Throwing Knife and Stun Grenades and I was set for the time of my life! Never have I owned with a knife quite like in MW2! Love the trowing knife, can't count how many times it's saved me when the other player was out of range of my knife. :rock

I perfer MG's when I spawn camp. Makes it lots harder for them to get at you.

Who doesn't, you're just like the rest of the crowd on my old server...their philosophy is 100 rds to spray aimlessly before I get shot on reload!

I distinguish myself from the spray-and-pray crowd by actually aiming. I get a lot of headshots with MG's, and reload time isn't that different from sniper rifles when you add up total reload time. Think, most sniper rifles have a 5 round magazine, while MG's have a 75-100 round magazine depending on what game your playing, your reload time is more, but you reload less.

correct me if I am wrong, but is that not what snipers were designed for?

Even so I agree with you, i think the whole game is too easy in every aspect. But then it is an arcade shooter.

True, personally as I've said I like to load up an R700 and, playing on my Hardcore server means I could ditch the Stopping Power perk, but I use Sleight of Hand. The R700's bolt speed is slower than the M40, but the perk makes up for it, especially in run n gun situations.

The online play on XBOX 360 is a joke.  The whole point of the game is to see how many people you can shoot in the back with a .50 caliber rifle while jumping sideways through the air.  :furious
