Oh no, I don't care about the hackers.
The gameplay is rubbish.
Warfare in a can, thats all it is.
It's just a rubbish game, an arcade shoot em up at the very best and a total waste of time if we are being honest.

And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

Don't get your knickers in a twist old boy.

Your calling the best selling game of all time (that is until Battlefield Bad Company 2 comes out) "rubbish"... I think you should go get checked out, you know, by a doctor or something?

It's not our fault you don't know what a quality game is.  While multiplayer may have taken a serious hit with the lack of dedicated servers for the PC version, there is no denying the single player campaign is utterly fantastic and probably one of the best games to be released in a very long time and has raised the bar for first person shooters.

I can't remember the last time I brought a game solely for single player, I'm sure it was GTA Vice City on the good old PS2.

BTW, check this out :rofl I go though this watermelon about once every ten games. Bring back dedi servers please!

I wont argue that point as I have not played MW2 at all. I am only commenting on the multiplayer aspect of CoD, from previous versions. I had assumed that the core gameplay remains the same in the newest version.
If they brought out a 100sq mile map and removed the rediculous perk system and arcade balistics, it might just be a great multiplayer game. Obvously, this is just my ignorant opinion based on previous CoD multiplayer experiences. I am not a bad player, i usualy do ok. I just don't rate it. *shrug*

A 3-4 hour single player campaign, and lagfest 9v9 multiplayer set on easy (ie. no hardcore "servers") for A$100 is hardly quality

You must be in the UK if you paid that much for MW2.  CoD games have always had short single player campaigns, Initity Ward's philosophy is why extend a game for the sake of just extending it at the expense of the story they're trying to tell.  It's a good philosophy and it shows in their games.  While it may be short, they do tell one Hell of a story.

You should try out CoDMW (first one) or CoDWaW on a "tactical realism" server...no "arcade ballistics"...no run n gun 360 jump machine gun noobs running around...the servers are modded so that it's very close to realistic with people organizing using squad infantry tactics...when I get bored flying, that's where I go. Be aware there is a difference between a server labeled "tactical" and those that have "tactial realism" in the names...and some of the "tactical realism" servers have some extreme b.s. rules from way back, like no running unless you're trying to get to cover...no shooting without the sights up...etc.

As for the dweebs using aimbots and wallhacks...they use them because they can't hang with the skilled players...and every single one of them admit it.
It's the mentality that if single player "god mode" is ok...then mulitplayer hacks should be ok...and it makes them feel good. Can't tell you how many times I've been told stuff like that by the little cheating dweebs over the years. I blame the school systems...teaching down rather than up...give the ones who don't want to make the effort an excuse and short cuts just to make the numbers look good to the tax payers.

...do you know how good VAC is? NOT GOOD.

heh... Oh the stories I could share... But I'll pick just one...

Guy shoots through 4 walls fresh out of a spawn, gets 2 headshots (not 2 birds one stone, but bang, bang, 2 HSs), send in the demo to VAC, their reply? "Not enough evidence of a hack, it very well could be skill, or even luck."  :headscratch:

Check out infinity wards forums for MW2 pc version.  I find it funny that they tried to pass off a console port for the pc.  There are still parts of it that refer to xbawks live.  The PC gamers are mega pissed about the decision to drop dedi support, mod tools, lean, and console from the "PC" version.

Yep, VAC sucks. Absolutely sucks. My community used to host about 20 full CS:S servers, used to be the backbone of our community until we switched to COD4 50/50. Was a hacker every 5 mins in CS:S.
