That sucks Kazaa I know how you feel.  When the swap came I bought a new laptop where I could play AH2 and I shut the laptop to hard and it broke the screen in half.  I'm being careful with it now trying to live with it as long as I can, until I have to break down and get a new screen.

Thanks for reminding me that you weren't on my ignore list yet.

Fester, why on earth you get a buzz out of kill streaks I'll never know because this isn't much fun to me at all.

Fester,

I'm not counting my disco as a death, according to the scoreboard I've yet to bail, ditch, be captured or has anyone claimed a victory over me in fighter mode.

No I didn't get an adrenalin rush after I passed 100 victories without a death. Any emotion to the game quickly passed after I couldn't boot my computer... I thought to myself "butter the game, I hope my computer's ok". After a little testing I found out the probelm was indeed the GFX card. TBH I was more looking forward to some DA time with Mark a.k.a SkyRock over the weekend rather than continuing my streak. I highly doubt that I would of had the patents and the will to get even close to Bruv's 250 for 0 which he set in FA anyway.
I was wondering what happened.....I didn't get on much this weekend, but I went in there a few times to look for yas..
I tried to see what I could get to on the kill streak, but we count discos in the Muppets as deaths, so I can just hang it up... I got to 128 the last time I seriously took a stab at it.

Every now and then I have to commit suicide several times over to get it out of my system... and then back to business as usual.  :old:

eh? I don't recall the part where i said I cared if it was fun for anyone else.

and by my scoring system you died 17 times. I don't do it by just one category and cherry pick/vulch some fighter sorties then go back to attack mode for hard fights.

you know what my squaddies jokingly say after i get shot down the first time for a tour?

"see ya next month"

because sometimes i stop playing after i do get shot down.

Fester was my in game name until September 2013

Fester,

I wasn't aware that your score system was the "legit" one to follow, or any of the rules that came with it. I just went with what seemed like common sense at the time by trying to emulate a kill streak of a WW2 fighter pilot in believe it or not, fighter mode.

I use attack mode to 'ave it large, blow off steam after my fighter runs and believe it or not go jabo a little.

you ask what I find fun about my ways of flying after you do something that is different from my way?

the kill streak is part of it but survival is the essence of it.

its a role playing thing.

you see in my imagination on the start of that new tour I'm usually a virtual Luftwaffe ww2 pilot.

I try to survive a tour in Luftwaffe aircraft like the 109 and 190. I follow the Luftwaffe free hunt tactics.

I consider the first death capture or disco in any category regardless if it it fighter/attack/bomber/vehicle as the end of this virtual character for this tour.

when you were jumping in your random fighter mode 262,f4u4,tempest after warming up and dying a bit in attack mode it was not your objective to try to use your imagination to make the game a bit more real for yourself.

your basic tone is wow! this is so easy because I dumbed down the difficulty as much as I could and missed the whole immersion concept of the play style and I'm totally bored because im such an awsomesnotnosesqueaker.

I see now what you're trying to achieve, something that I was unaware of previously. However, what I'm doing has no coalition to your goal in the game so I don't understand why you're getting so upset about it. I mean seriously, "kill yourself" is a little harsh even by my standards.

Can we be friends?

Hear hear alot of talk from someone about immersion and roleplaying while your squad name wouldn't even pass a german first grade class  :neener:
