I've done some  :airplane: with buffs several times. Usually I will stick with the buff and only engage if enemy fighter(s) get high enough to threaten the mission. Aside from that, I won't engage. Now if he decides he wants to bail out after the run, i'll go and find a fight.

That wasn't me in that case since i haven't gotten back into the game yet. Hopefully I will within the next couple of weeks, early next month at latest.

This iswhy dual monitors and graphics cards rocks. Climbout/travel to anywhere is kinda boring, I just play another game while climbing. I just play wow while my p47 climbs at it's mighty rate

Even if it seems certain that you will lose, retaliate. Neither wisdom nor technique has a place in this. A real man does not think of victory or defeat. He plunges recklessly towards an irrational death. By doing this, you will awaken from your dreams.

OK what is lame about escorting a bomber. IMO bombing a factory can affect how fast a base is resupplied. I do this quite often bomb the city then their ammo factory and watch them whine and compain about how long it is taking to resupply a base. Even if the area is clear I have a chance to take a fighter escort I will take it. A bomber mission can alter real fast usually once one fighter sees you then you know here soon there will be more as your position is now known and if a fighter can by you the time you need to get bombs on target then you take it. It aint being lame it is being smart.

FYI This is one of those Whine Topics where the person who started it is pretty much saying I was bored because the bomber didnt play fair and didnt do what I wanted him to do.

I only agree that boredom is my responsibility but still, lol, I was bored. Call it a whine if you like. I always say play the game the way you like even if I do think it is lame. As far as I am concerned the matter is over and it's a new day.

And one more point about high alt combat -- if you're stalling out, either you're trying to climb to max alt without letting speed build up first, or you're in a plane that shouldn't be that high in the first place.

(To anticipate how your plane will be handling at altitude, look at the INDICATED rather than GROUND speed marker. That takes the air "thinness" into account.)

Tonight just sucked on so many levels. Rooks were just spawn camping. I assume the other sides were as well. I head into a dar bar and it is all jets. Knits would not leave the safety of their base. I chase a B17 to a factory that is being escorted by a p51 at least 25k or more. Uh Read that again! You need escort to milk run!!!!. Lame level 70 as been achieved.

Aaaaaw, what a shame.

I went to the TA and messed around with a P-39. I got my arse whooped by WarKat and his P-40, but hey, I learned something!
I heard that WarKat keeps getting kicked off IL2 servers because he's so good everyone acuses him of cheating
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.
